Fero Foundation provides support in the form of funds to finance oncological research projects, as well as attracting talent by supporting laboratories and acquiring new equipment in order to develop high level scientific production.

Pfizer Centre – Granada University – Junta de Andalucía Oncological Research and Genomics (GENYO)

This Institution conducts research on genetic diseases –including cancer– and the influence of genetics in the organism’s response to certain drugs.

Josep Carreras Foundation against Leukaemia

This research institute is one of the few in the world with a monographic interest in leukaemia and other oncological diseases affecting blood. Its goal is to promote research in the field of onco-haematology, accelerate the application of new treatments and improve healthcare and survival of patients.

Biosciences Cooperative Research Centre

This non-profit organisation is focused on biomedical research. Its mission is to generate new knowledge, promote technology transfer, provide high level training and exploit results in the field of biomedicine.

INCLIVA Healthcare Research Institute

The centre was founded in 2000 and since 2011 has been recognised as a Healthcare Research Institute by Carlos III Research Institute. INCLIVA conducts biomedical research for the Valencia University Clinical Hospital and its Healthcare Department, as well as for certain groups of scientific excellence from the Medicine School of Valencia University and IGENOMIX Foundation.

Barcelona Clinical Hospital

It is a university hospital founded in and is part of the Catalonia Public Interest Hospital Network (XHUP). It covers almost all medical and surgical specialities and conducts activities in the fields of Healthcare, Research and Teaching, both directly and through associated companies.

IRB Barcelona

IRB Barcelona is a top-level research centre focused on the study of fundamental healthcare issues and human diseases. IRB Barcelona, founded in October 2005 by the Catalan Regional Government and Barcelona University, is located in Barcelona Science Park.

Alicante Neuroscience Institute

Alicante Neuroscience Institute (IN) was formally founded in February 1990 by the Valencian Regional Government as a University Institute attached to Alicante University. Its main goal is to develop various scientific activities, including research, a doctorate program, conferences and seminars, as well as establishing and managing services and common budgets.

“Alberto Sols” Biomedical Research Institute, UAM

“Alberto Sols” Biomedical Research Institute (IIBM) is one of the leading Biomedical Research Institutes in Spain. It is a joint centre of the Scientific Research Council (CSIC) and Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Its research activities are conducted along three main lines: Physiopathology, Cellular Metabolism and Stress, and Cancer Biology. In addition, training plays an important part in the Institute.
